To fully harness the power of 28nm GPUs, GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 comes with ASUS exclusive DirectCU II fansink and five flatten copper heat-pipes directly contacted the GPU, not only making this card 20% cooler but also leading 14dB quieter operation than reference card. ASUS GTX680-DC2T-2GD5 is also built with DIGI+ VRM for precise digital delivery and doubled 8+2 phase power design in Super Alloy Power technology, compared to 4+2 phase power design in reference card, for enhanced overclocked headroom. In addition, proprietary VGA Hotwire allows users to alter voltages directly on a hardware level, resulting in more precise modification.
